These terms govern use of the Senior Assist The Villages website and its business-listing services. By using the website or submitting a profile, you agree to these terms. Paid subscriptions require separate authorization of recurring charges during checkout. If you do not agree, do not use the service or purchase paid placement.
Directory service and independent businesses
Senior Assist The Villages is a directory and advertising service, not the provider of moving, estate-sale, appraisal, cleanout, or other services offered by listed businesses. You are responsible for evaluating a provider, confirming its credentials, insurance, availability, and pricing, and agreeing directly on the work to be performed.
Listing review does not guarantee a business’s performance or the continued accuracy of its information. Sponsored placement identifies advertising, not an endorsement or a guarantee of leads, sales, or results. Businesses within the same tier are listed alphabetically. Independently operated websites and businesses have their own terms.
Accounts, profiles, and acceptable use
You must be an adult authorized to enter into these terms and, when submitting a business, authorized to represent it. Provide accurate information, protect your credentials, and report unauthorized account use. One business profile is supported per account.
Do not submit unlawful, misleading, infringing, abusive, or private information without permission. Do not impersonate others, send spam, interfere with the website, attempt unauthorized access, or misuse its forms or data.
You retain ownership of submitted content and grant Senior Assist The Villages permission to store, review, format, and display your business information, logo, and optional business photo as needed to operate your listing. You confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions, including permission to publish any identifiable people in your business photo. We may request corrections, decline a submission, or remove content that violates these terms.
Review and listing plans
Business profiles are reviewed before approval. Submitting a profile does not activate paid placement or take payment. An approved Basic listing is free. Featured is $19.85 USD every 30 days, and Premium is $39.85 USD every 30 days. Premium includes your supplied Business address card on your profile. Paid plans cover placement on Senior Assist The Villages only. Included features are described on the Advertise page.
Paid placement begins after payment is confirmed and depends on the subscription remaining in good standing. When paid placement ends, the approved Basic listing may remain. Subscription cancellation does not automatically remove public business information; contact us separately to request a listing change or removal.
No contracts and automatic billing
No contracts. Each payment provides 30 days of service at your selected tier. Cancel anytime through Manage billing or send us a cancellation notice; your paid tier remains available through the end of the paid period. No refunds for partial periods, except where required by law. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid 30-day billing period in which we receive your cancellation notice. Automatic billing runs every 30 days, with a reminder near the end of each 12-payment cycle. Unless you cancel, billing continues automatically at the same frequency. No response is required to continue.
Twelve 30-day payments cover 360 days, not 12 calendar months. This is a reminder cycle, not a minimum commitment or an upfront annual charge.
Founding Member offer: available through December 31, 2026 (Eastern Time). Pay $150 for Featured or $250 for Premium once for 12 billing periods (360 days, not a calendar year). After that prepaid term, Featured automatically continues at $19.85 USD or Premium at $39.85 USD every 30 days until canceled. We email a reminder 7 days before the first regular charge, showing the amount and how to cancel. Cancel anytime; cancellation during the prepaid term takes effect at the end of the 360 days, with paid placement retained until then. No partial refunds, except where required by law. The prepaid-term rules are an exception to the regular 30-day billing and cancellation wording above; after the prepaid term, those regular rules apply.
“No contracts” means no fixed-term payment commitment; it does not remove these service terms or your authorization for recurring charges. You do not owe the remaining payments in a 12-payment reminder cycle if you cancel early.
We send a continuation reminder to your account email approximately seven days before each 12-payment cycle ends. It explains the upcoming charge and how to cancel. If we receive no cancellation notice, automatic billing continues; no affirmative reply is required to continue. Keep your email and payment method current.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Any applicable taxes or adjustments are shown at checkout or on your invoice. No payments are collected while checkout is in preview mode. Any future price change will be disclosed before it applies, with an opportunity to cancel.
Cancellation and no partial-period refunds
No refunds for partial periods, except where required by law. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid 30-day billing period in which we receive your cancellation notice.
“End of month” means the end of the current paid 30-day billing period in which your cancellation notice reaches us, not the last day of a calendar month. Your selected tier remains available through that period, then paid placement ends and no further renewal is due.
For immediate confirmation, sign in to your Business Account, choose “Manage billing / cancel subscription,” and complete the cancellation. You may instead reply to a billing reminder or submit a cancellation notice through the website inquiry form. Include your account email and business name so we can identify the subscription.
Written notices are handled by our team. The effective period is determined by when we receive your identifiable cancellation notice, not when staff finish processing it. Submit notice before your next renewal to stop that charge. If notice arrives after a new paid period starts, cancellation takes effect at the end of that new period. Keep your submission or cancellation confirmation.
No prorated refund or credit is provided for unused days in a paid period, except where required by applicable law. This policy does not limit rights concerning an incorrect or unauthorized charge; contact us promptly so we can review it.
Availability and service limitations
We aim to keep the website available and information accurate, but cannot promise uninterrupted access, error-free content, or particular business results. We may suspend access for misuse, security concerns, or unpaid charges, subject to applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the extent permitted by law, the directory is provided as available without guarantees about independent providers. Senior Assist The Villages is not responsible for agreements, work, or disputes between you and a listed business. This does not exclude responsibility where the law prohibits doing so.
Privacy, updates, and contact
Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle information. We may update these terms and will show the latest revision date on this page. Material changes to paid service terms will be communicated before they take effect where required by law.
